Dr. Nanyin Zhang is Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Lloyd & Dorothy Foehr Huck Chair in Brain Imaging at the Pennsylvania State University. His work has been focused on the development and applications of neural engineering methods. His lab has established a platform that integrates neuroimaging, electrophysiology, optogenetics, chemogenetics and behavioral methods in rodent models. This platform can provide multi-dimensional, multi-scale information in the brain, and represents a powerful tool to study brain network organization using animal models.
